Artist & Instructor

Born and raised in California, Carol and her sisters were taught to sew by their mother at an early age.  As she grew older, Carol’s artistic interests came to include knitting, spinning, felting, floral design, painting, stained glass, mosaic, lamp work, and much more.  Five years in London, England fueled her creativity, and she branched out further, including jewelry design in her passions and finally pursuing it as a craft.

Using a combination of PMC, fused glass, fibers and beads, Carol creates one-of-a-kind pendants, necklaces, earrings, and more.  She is also a level-three certified Precious Metal Clay (PMC) artisan instructor.

In her spare time, Carol entertains family and friends in her Northern Virginia home, spending time with her husband, two grown sons, and two grown stepchildren.  She and her husband also raise Yorkshire Terriers, their first two (Marleybones and Paddington) having been adopted by them while living in London.

Photographer & Webmistress
A photographer first, Rebecca has been maintaining her own photography website since 2004.  She specializes in concert photography, but has been branching out to portraits and product photography thanks to her contacts among local bands and artists.  She has been working with Carol since 2006, but they first met when Carol met and married Rebecca's father, George.

Keeping busier than she has in years, Rebecca can be found working for a building code non-profit, maintaining Carol's website as well as her own, attending concerts (for photography and for fun), creating knick-knacks and pendants out of polymer clay, and spending time with her family and friends, including her
fiancé and his three sons.  Her independent work can be found at Stonecat Photography.
